The Join Indian Army has invited to the candidates for NCC Special Entry Scheme (Short Service Commission). Unmarried Male and Female candidate can fill the online application form. The application form is available on the official website ie www.joinindianarmy.nic.in from July 10, 2019. Be sure that you have to apply before the end date of 8th August 2019. Indian Army NCC Special Entry 2019
The Indian Army is the second largest army in the world. Indian Army organizes many examinations every year for the recruitment of candidates. This vacancy is for those candidates who have an NCC certificate. Those candidates who are interested in the following vacancy and have all eligibility criteria can read the full notification before apply online.
Indian Army NCC Special Entry Eligibility Criteria 2019
Candidate has to fulfill the eligibility criteria that are decided by the Indian Army.
Nationality
Candidate must be a citizen of India Or A subject of Nepal Or A subject of Bhutan Or A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India Or An Indian origin person who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age Limit:
- Candidate must have completed 19 years of age and not exceed than 25 years of age as on January 01, 2020. Candidate should not be born before January 2, 1995, and not after January 01, 2001 (both days inclusive).
For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders
Educational Qualification
- Candidate must have a degree with an aggregate of minimum 50% marks from the recognized university or board of India.
Service in NCC
- Should have served for minimum two academic years in the senior Division/Wing of NCC.
Grading
- Should have obtained a minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.
For Ward of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel
Educational Qualification
- Candidate must have a degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks.
Service in NCC
- NCC ‘C’ certificate NOT required for Wards of Battle Casualties.
Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme Selection Process
The candidate who has applied for the Indian Army NCC Special Scheme will be called for SSB. The candidate will be selected on the basis of cut off marks, which has been decided by Headquarters (MoD) (Army). The candidates need to clear the two-phase selection process in the SSB. After completing the first phase, the candidate passed in the first phase will be in the second phase. Candidates who have not passed in the first phase will be sent back on that day. Candidates will have to undergo a medical examination after the interview. The final list of candidates passed in the Medical Test will be published on the official website.
Documents for SSB
- One copy of the print out application duly self-attested by the candidate will be carried to the selection center for the SSB interview.
- Class 10th certificate/mark sheet in original showing DOB.
- Class 12th certificate/mark sheet in the original.
- ID proof in original.
- Two self-attested photocopies of the Class 10th and 12th will be submitted at the time of SSB interview and originals will be returned after verification at the SSB itself.
- 20 copies of self-attested Passport size photograph will also be carried along with the Application Form.
Indian Army NCC Special Entry Application Form 2019
- Candidate has to visit the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
- There you can see “online application” link, click on that link.
- Click on the registration link. Read the instructions and click on continue.
- Fill the personal details like name, father’s name, mother’s name, DOB, Email ID, Mobile Number.
- After that Click on the ‘submit’ button.
- You will an OTP on your email id.
- Now you have to fill other personal details like education details, make a password, etc.
- After the final submission of the application form, you will get a roll number within 30 minutes.
- Take two print out of application form with roll number.
- One copy of the print out application duly self-attested by the candidate will be carried to the selection center for the SSB interview.
